Monday traffic

Day of Farkas in Hungary. Its an ancient Hungarian name means: wolf.
Monday traffic
The other day I posted a photo showing the Budapest traffic on the weekend. A Saturday morning. Here you can see the Monday morning version:)

Today the question will be about the Budapest traffic:

How many new cars appear on the streets of Budapest every day?

A, 150
B, 60
C, 600

About the previous question:

The question was tricky because mr. Szamos had two name as he changed it from his original Serbian Mladen Szavits to the Hungarian Szamos Mátyás (in Hungary the family name comes first and then the "firstname"). I accept both answers.

Here you can see your points.

Interesting comparison. I like to see both takes of traffic sample shots in Budapest. Traffic jams seem to be our common burden.-)

My answer is 60. That hard traffic must be less difficult to pass with that beautiful sky.

it wasnt easy to search for the info. my answer would be "A"

Looks like commute time in San Francisco too. Too many cars and not enough space.
New cars..my answer would be 60.

C, 600. http://www.amcham.hu/BusinessHUngary/18-09/articles/18-09_focus_02.asp said 137,000 in the first 8 months of 2004 - that makes it roughly 574.6 per day in 2004. I'm so mad I didn't see the "contest" until I read the narration for the marzipan - this is question 4 isn't it? And I would gotten Question 2 for sure... I'll do anything for sweets from far away places.... almost!

C, 600. I'm so miffed I didn't see the "contest" until I read the narration for the marzipan - this one is question 4 isn't it? I'll do anything for sweets from far away places.... almost! Oh I fee a wee bit of desperation kicking in because I've never had properly made marzipan in my life! I would love to be able to compare them to the gooey stuff I make.

Dear all!

Thank you for the answers and the nice comments.:)

I am closing this question now!

The right answer is 60!

Meg...you did such a great job with finding this AMCHAM article. You are really great! Its a pity you forgot the data was about Hungary there and the question was about Budapest only.

Its such a honour to me that so many of you take part in this game! THANK YOU!

I'm sorry sorry sorry to everybody who said 600 after my miscalculation. I must have been drunk on the thought of marzipan - I still am!
