Királylány

Day of Ödön in Hungary. The hungarian version of the German Eugen.
királylány
Királylány means something like princess. She has been sitting there for years. With partly opened mouth and with her crown which looks rather like the cap of a clown. And just after writing it down i realised how close are the words CROWN and CLOWN to each other. Tourists like to take photos with her and I guess she enjoys being popular.:)

There is something very appealing about her! I think it's both her mouth and the hair. Good close-up to show us the details.

She looks young and brave here. Is there a mythical story about her?

She must have a really bad cold as well. I know when I'm in the wind if I don't keep my mouth closed a cold will follow.

Very nice "against the light" (is this expression correct?)

She looks like a character from a Grimm fairy tale.

thank you for the nice comments..:)

Lachezar...i took the photo because I like her too.

Olivier...I guess a lot of people have a photo at home with this princess.:)

Edwin..her "wind bowing hair" makes the whole picture moving.

Ann..would you take a photo with her?:)

Kate...I guess the angle shows very well these details. And to be honest only her mouth shows that she is female. (and the name of the statue)

Lisi...I am glad you liked the photo..I have more with her I guess I will upload them later.

Lara...welcome back.:)

Jazzy...check your post box often!!:)

Annie..I dont know any story about her..but I will check.

Denton...maybe knowing she is so popular keeps her warm

Alice...my English is broken enough to know which expression is correct or not but I know what you mean:)

Mountainboy...I wonder which tale you mean?

Keropok Man...you are welcome to Budapest!!...she will be happy to have a photo with you:)

So, do you mean, this is a sculpture titled something like "princess" or is this a historical figure? I'm actually more interested to know if the crown is a traditional crown of some of the people who came to Hungary (because I learned a heck of a lot about the different people arriving at Hungary just recently!!!)
