Globe

Day of Alíz in Hungary. This name comes from the Alice...so happy name day Alice!:)
Globe
This globe is at the entrance of the University. It was made in 1966 and the text written to the table says: the traffic network of the world. I don't know how was the traffic in the 60's but to me, the globe looks not too "busy" with routes. Maybe they meant 1966 BC.:)

Quel chemin fait depuis 1966...j'ais fait un zoom et je vois Evry Village (en 1966 , la ville nouvelle n'existait pas encore).
Impressionnant ce globe, il fait quel taille ?

Which way made since 1966… I board makes a zoom and I see Evry Village (in 1966, the new city did not exist yet). Impressing this sphere, it which size makes?

yeah, the traffic is almost non existent, i've heard the virtual travelling like DP blogging is in at the moment, so maybe that's why =)

Back in 1961, my mother and I flew from Tokyo to Anchorage, Alaska, and then to Minnesota. It was a great big deal in Japan, and my grandfather rented a bus so all my relatives could go to the airport and see us off. Not sure about Europe, but 66 may not have been much different in Japan. I know things changed a bit after the Jumbos started arriving.
