Like Eric, I didnt know about him. Got to know his death via BBC world , they did a special on him. hopefully he had inspired more Hungarian sportsmen to excel and achieve as he did for the country.

Soccer, as we call it here in the states, is gaining popularity, and I'm supportive. Sorry about the loss and thank you for the tribute. Life is so fleeting that tributes are important. I shall look up his name and learn more about him.

Thank you for bringing this man to my attention. That is an incredible photo, isn't it? I always admire soccer (football) players' legs- they need so much strength with that constant running, stopping, starting, kicking. Amazing stamina.

I have also posted a memorial today to a sports legend here in Michigan who died yesterday.
